Do I need an Authorised Representative if I only sell very small quantities?
Very small sales volumes do not automatically mean that an Authorised Representative is unnecessary. The relevant setup depends primarily on the sales model, the country in which the products are placed on the market and whether the producer has an establishment there.
As a simplified general orientation, direct sales to end users in a country where the producer has no establishment generally fall within the scenarios in which an Authorised Representative is required. National implementation can differ, so low quantities should not be used on their own to determine whether the requirement applies.
